Job Purpose
TalentMapper is seeking a strategic, driven, and detail-oriented individual to join our
team as our Product Lead. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role working as part of
our Technology team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our product aligns with
market needs, is developed efficiently, and delivers value to both the business and its
customers. This role will encompass strategy, execution, and continuous improvement,
and will therefore require someone who can balance strategic thinking, technical
knowledge, and customer empathy in fast paced and high growth global market

Hereâs what youâll do:
o Establish and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the product.
o Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape,
and market trends.
o Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the direction and
milestones for product development.
o Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design,
marketing, sales, and customer support.
o Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on
product progress and incorporating their feedback.
o Gather and prioritise requirements from various stakeholders to ensure the
product meets business and customer needs.
o Define and document product features, specifications, and user stories.
o Maintain and prioritise the product backlog to ensure the team is working on
the most valuable features.
o Plan and oversee the development iterations, including sprint planning and
review sessions.
o Oversee the execution of the product development process to ensure timely
delivery of high-quality features.
o Ensure the product meets quality standards.
o Plan and coordinate product releases, including beta testing and go-to-market
strategies.
o Ensure the product provides a seamless and engaging user experience.
o Collect and analyse customer feedback to continuously improve the product.
o Work with customers teams to ensure users understand and can effectively use
the product.
o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of
the product.
o Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and validate assumptions.
o Provide regular updates on product performance to stakeholders and executive
leadership.
Experience Required
o Experience as a product manager/Lead/Owner, or similar roles where they have
managed product lifecycles, defined product strategy, and worked closely with
cross-functional teams.
o Involvement in creating product roadmaps, defining feature requirements, and
prioritising backlogs.
o Hands-on experience in software development or a strong understanding of
software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
o Familiarity with programming languages, development tools, and software
architecture.
o Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and
understanding market trends.
o Involvement in business strategy development, including setting long-term
goals and defining key performance indicators (KPIs).
o Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams, including developers,
designers, marketers, and sales professionals.
o Proven ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including
executive leadership, customers, and partners.
o Experience in conducting user research, gathering customer feedback, and
translating insights into product improvements.
o Knowledge of customer support processes and the ability to work closely with
support teams to address customer issues.
Skills Required
o Ability to lead teams and articulate a clear vision for the product.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various
stakeholders.
o Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
o A good understanding of HR software development processes and technologies.
o Understanding of user experience and user interface design principles.
o Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
o Ability to empathise with customers and understand their needs and pain
points.
o Strong problem-solving skills to address complex challenges that arise during
product development.
