Holman is looking for a Manager – Central Variable Operations to join their team!
This position will focus on supporting dealerships to meet or exceed annual sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and refine sales processes to streamline operations and maximize sales opportunities. This position will work in lockstep with the Senior Vice President of Dealership Operations, promoting efficiencies through process improvements and ensuring business milestones are met.
What will you do?
Independent leadership of special executive-initiated projects, ranging from critically important strategy decks about future product and organization direction, to written blog posts to be authored by the executive conveying thought on various topics
Prepare, plan, and facilitate critical organizational meetings, both internal and external, maximizing effectiveness for the Senior Vice President of Dealership Operations
Review and analyze reporting to identify patters or trends in which best practices can be shared and executed as deliverables
Assist with building, training, motivating, and maintaining a quality sales organization
Needs to have a thorough understanding of any/all projects the Senior Vice President of Dealership Operations is working on at any given time, advancing strategic initiatives of the business. This includes confidential and/or time sensitive projects
Schedule regular meetings to review and reinforce best practices regarding sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills
Review sales statistics to identify how to maximize profitability for each dealership
Monitor and manage daily sales operations to optimize efficiency and productivity
Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
Proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of business initiatives
Collaborate with other central service to ensure communications and priorities are in lockstep with one another
Establish and enforce policies and procedures that prioritize customer satisfaction
Develop and implement processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Contribute to the development of vision and strategy
Work with other leaders to develop a common departmental vision or strategy
Adapt area/departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
Manage team projects and project plans through execution
Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning resources; may manage allocated budget
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer interactions, track leads, and analyze sales data
Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
3-5+ years’ experience, including 2+ at a leadership level
Prior experience in automotive sales with a proven track record of success in selling vehicles and meeting sales targets
Experience in a sales management role; proficient in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance
Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departments
Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems
Adjusts quickly to new or changing work environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and department or business plan; receives guidance from manager
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal, counseling, negotiation, and customer service skills
Anticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutions
Target Compensation: $165,000/annually

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time
In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.
Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $112,160.00 - $176,645.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
