Job Responsibilities

At Adobe, as a Senior Software Quality Engineer, you'll have the remarkable opportunity to influence the creation of flawless digital experiences. In this ambitious role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with development teams and other QE professionals to successfully implement and complete comprehensive test plans.
  • Ensuring compatibility and functionality across both Mac and Windows environments.
  • Writing, maintaining, and completing detailed testware, including test cases, plans, and reports for complex features.
  • Driving end-to-end testing for assigned features to ensure they meet our world-class standards.
  • Crafting regular reports on the status of features under test, emphasizing any risks or issues.
  • Engaging with customers to gather feedback on new features and address hard-to-reproduce issues.
  • Collaborating closely with Technical Support to ensure customer happiness and following through on resolutions.
  • Participating actively in customer engagement channels to better understand user needs.

Required Skills

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant degree (B.Tech./M.Tech) from a premium engineering college.
  • 6+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proven experience in integration testing of features for web and mobile products.
  • The skill to develop and put into practice an exploratory testing plan to identify risks and communicate them in an effective manner.
  • Experience with JS test frameworks such as Playwright (preferred), WebDriver, Nightwatch, etc.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Technical Skill

  • Accurately estimate and schedule your work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues, driving them to closure.
  • Collaborate effectively with other functions to ensure feature completion.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, showcasing your ability to deliver outstanding results.
