Job Description:

Qualifications:

  • Proven market research/ consulting advisory/ strategy experience – in-house or consulting firm – MBA graduates
  • Market Research experience - in the manufacturing/ engineering or allied field would be a plus
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and tie-in to business insights
  • Financial aptitude and understanding of balance sheets/ P&L statements
  • Aptitude to understand technical specifications pertaining to HVACR
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Business research tools acumen
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, online databases etc.)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking

 

JD:

  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
  • Understand business objectives and design/interpret surveys to discover prospective/current customers’ preferences
  • Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it, deriving business insights and recommendations
  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make actionable recommendations
  • Use available market research and catalogue findings to databases
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
  • Good to have additionally- Help create and enhance PowerBI front-end visualizations, leverage familiarity with DAX queries
Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent analytic and critical thinking skills. Able to independently conduct research projects from start to finish. Strong ability to synthesize data and present the findings. Expert ability to use database and analytic tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel.
