- This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home from anywhere inside the US.
- Will be responsible for working ServiceNow tickets supporting Member & Provider websites and internal B C BBC Employee applications.
- Troubleshooting one-off issues.
- Regularly perform AMI updates and iSeries Password Rotations.
- Position would be normal hours and somewhat flexible on time, but must be able to stay until 5:00 pm CT
- Will participate with the team for deployments for Member & Provider websites and internal Employee applications. Typical deployment schedule is Mondays between 8pm and Midnight CT or Thursday mornings at 6am - 7am CT, however, emergent deployments could be made at any time off-hours (7pm CT – 7am CT).
- Make needed updates to databases and or site content.
- Log into on-premise servers and/or boxes to check log files when troubleshooting production issues.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting & monthly patch testing
- This team oversees operations for probably 30+ websites as well as at least 15 internal employee applications.
- Our sites and application depend on both on-prem and AWS servers, SQL databases, feeds to or from other internal systems, network, etc.
This position develops guidelines for specific areas within Production Operations and drives the automation of these functions through the use of appropriate tools and improve the overall productivity and performance of the assigned IT Service Area.
- Understands and learns Lean Thinking and applies it to improve flow within a specific production operation.
- Implements process improvements in a specific area of ITIL Service Delivery or ITIL Service Management (Incident, Problem, Change etc.).
- Drives the automation of routine tasks such as Patching, Alerting etc. through the use of Magellan tools such as ServiceNow, Tanium and others.
