Job Description
Join our newly established multinational team as the Supply Order Manager and take over the responsibility of ensuring smooth transactional execution between external suppliers and the respective intercompany and third-party customers.
You will act as competent counterpart between assigned external suppliers and various functions to guarantee high customer service level, with the goal to achieve operational excellence in terms of quality, cost, and compliance.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Developing and managing the relationship with external suppliers and customers for all supply-related matters to guarantee high customer service levels.
- Driving, as part of the interdisciplinary team, tactical decisions with responsibility to build a bridge between different functions such as LCM, AQ, Quality, SCM, SRM, and the final system.
- Monitoring and maintaining correct system transactions related to order management processes according to defined business cases based on planning and master data parameters, including the up-to-date status of the order at any point in time.
- Ensuring timely and smooth transmission of purchase orders to external suppliers.
- Performing order confirmation and inbound system booking according to the business case.
- Ensuring adherence to change management (change requests) for assigned suppliers.
- Driving and maintaining a close relationship and involving other functions (Life Cycle Management, QA, Supply Chain, Finance, Artwork, Logistics) to ensure regulatory and quality-compliant product supply.
- Participating in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions of production flow.
- Ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality-relevant processes within the area of responsibility.
Essential Requirements:
- At least a higher education (bachelor’s degree) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, or at least vocational education in commercial professions complemented by additional training in business administration resp. supply chain management.
- Fluent in English. Additional/local languages represent an advantage.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain role in Health Care, Consumer Goods, Chemical or another process industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain processes incl. customer service and vendor management.
- Good understanding of ERP implementation methodology.
- Computer literacy: Office applications (Excel, Power Point, WinWord) and Visio.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP.
- Well-structured conceptual thinking and process orientation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
