Job Description

Job Summary

This position will specialize in partnering with HR and Finance on Workday Governance, identifying and solving complex business problems related to integrating the Workday cloud application with external systems across Human Capital Management and Financial areas. Responsibilities include designing, building, and testing Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, and 3rd party tools, while overseeing the entire integration delivery process, often managing global resources. This position will design the data integrations for point-to-point systems and holistic interchange services, ensuring high data quality and reliable information exchanges.


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary 
  • Lead the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience
  • Manage IT team(s) providing leadership and guidance to individual contributors and potentially supervisor(s)
  • Oversee and execute tactical implementation of departmental strategies to achieve goals in alignment with departmental IT strategy
  • Lead Discovery session with client for each domain specific integration
  • Deliver requirements and design documents to developers
  • Engage with 3rd party vendors as required
  • Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals
  • Accountable for the performance and results of department team
  • Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or individual contributors
  • Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams
  • Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities
  • Decisions are guided by resource availability and Stewart objectives
  • Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance
  • Guided by functional or regional business plans, impacts the department results by supporting and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies
  • Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging resources within or outside the department
  • Persuades managers and leaders to take action and/or negotiates with external partners/vendors/customers
  • Manages multiple related teams, sets departmental priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred


Experience

  • Typically requires 8+ years of related work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on Workday Integrations Leadership experience and modern integration technologies
  • Workday Partner Certification required
