Position Overview
This role can be based in any of our US locations: Denver, CO; Quincy, WA; or Ashburn, VA or open to remote.
Vantage is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, implementing new systems and updates, and providing actionable, data-driven insights to enhance business performance and profitability. You will work closely across the North America and IT teams to develop and maintain key systems roadmaps, dashboards, and systems improvements. Additionally, you will document and analyze current processes, recommend improvements, and manage special projects. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between the North America team and IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications for system implementations.
Essential Job Functions
Reporting & Dashboard Management:
- Build and maintain various reports and dashboards to steer business operations, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
- Collaborate with the North America team (Ops, Commercial, Market Development, etc.) and IT teams to implement new tools and systems as needed.
- Regularly analyze business performance through reports and dashboards, uncovering data-driven insights that enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Data-Driven Insights:
- Uncover actionable insights using data analytics to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
- Create performance metrics and analysis for business units to evaluate operational efficiency and financial performance.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and automation.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Document team processes for both internal reference and distribution to broader business teams.
Systems & Special Projects:
- Act as the primary interface with IT and the North America team to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Assist with system improvements and upgrades, ensuring proper alignment with business needs.
- Collaborate on special projects that drive systems integration and business process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Ops, Commercial, IT, and others to provide seamless integration of systems and tools.
- Partner with various departments to provide insights into financial data, operational trends, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Training & Documentation:
- Provide training and support to end-users on new reports, dashboards, and system changes.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation for processes, systems implementations, and reporting tools.
Project Management:
- Assist in the coordination and management of key system and reporting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Support the evaluation and selection of new technology solutions that meet evolving business requirements.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Support:
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business units in understanding trends, potential risks, and opportunities.
- Provide support for ad hoc reporting requests and analysis to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Additional Duties:
- Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in business systems analysis, data analytics, or related roles.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis, process improvement, and business reporting.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, business processes, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and in teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities.
- Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.

Additional Details
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
- This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
- Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
