What you’ll do:
- Design, install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the network operates optimally.
- Conduct regular network upgrades and updates to enhance performance and security.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's network and data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security.
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Implement and manage network backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Set up network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address network performance issues.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Possess an active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in various domains such as network security, application security, and cloud security.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies in complex environments.
- Extensive experience with security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in security tools, techniques, and practices for threat detection and mitigation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
