Job Description:
What You’ll Do
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards, validating security controls, and driving continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and alignment to industry frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0.
How You’ll Do It
Ensure the Cybersecurity department adheres to internal and external cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
Conduct regular reviews to verify compliance and recommend updates to policies and standards as needed.
Assess and validate that security controls are implemented and functioning as documented by control owners.
Ensure the effectiveness of security controls through evidence collection, analysis, and gap identification.
Ensure cybersecurity practices align with industry frameworks, including NIST CSF 2.0 or 800.53, and other relevant standards.
Provide recommendations for improving alignment and maturity based on industry benchmarks.
Monitor and analyze current security threats, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to guide the organization’s risk posture.
Identify opportunities for enhancing security processes and controls to support continuous improvement.
Lead or support remediation efforts by coordinating with technical teams, gathering and reviewing evidence, and assisting with and closure documentation when needed.
Collaborate with cybersecurity product owners to address gaps and establish remediation timelines
Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics
Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Analytics, Business Administration and Management, or Project Management.
4+ years experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Analytics, Business Administration and Management, Project Management, or related.
In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Analytics, Business Administration and Management, Project Management, or related.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $91,000.00 to $153,400.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
