Scope:
The Sr. Oracle Applications DBA is responsible for maintaining the Oracle E-Business Suite environments, other Oracle database based applications and Oracle database (RAC) administration , within TTM.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that supports the Global operations (North America and Asia based systems) in a 24 X 7 manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Sr. Manager , DBA team – Regional Business Systems.
Oracle Applications DBAs spend the majority of their time managing, patching, troubleshooting/ debugging, cloning, performance tuning and fixing issues with the various technology components on the applications tier and database tier. The successful candidate will work closely with management, developers, Linux administrators and users to resolve critical issues, also to implement new projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Migrate code from Development > Test > Production using a customized migration program
Perform system refreshes based on Oracle Rapid Clone process
Provide support to business analysts & developers when they log Oracle Service Requests.
Manage and monitor performance and functionality issues
Determine Applications upgrade or migrations strategy with business owners
Improve documentation processes
Research, test, apply and track application patches
Debug/Edit and restart multi-step OEM jobs
Manages concurrent manager log , output files and performance
Monitor and track Oracle Applications usage
Define archive / purge strategies for Audit, Workflow and Concurrent Manager tables
Test , audit and document backups and Disaster Recovery processes- RMAN, Oracle Data Guard.
Provide expertise in SQL tuning, Disaster Recover, backup and recovery support, installation and configuration of Oracle software.
Proactively monitor and support the health, performance, and integrity of Oracle based systems.
Perform preventive maintenance functions on the database and application as appropriate
Ensure 24x7 availability and performance of mission critical systems, part of the team that provides on-call support on a rotational basis.
Provide on-call support including coordinating and messaging required for maintenance windows
Required Skills:
Must be able to work independently and possess good written communication skills in English.
Experience in support, upgrade , patching and administering Oracle E-Business Suite applications and Oracle databases.
Knowledge of Oracle Applications Database Administration utilities, patching procedures and cloning techniques.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Customer service orientated
Ability to be collaborative in a dynamic environment and with remote team members.
Experience working with a global team
EBS Rapid Clone
Fluent in SQL
Fluent in Oracle PL/SQL
Minimum 5 years Oracle EBS on Linux/Unix
Experience working with Change Management processes and tools
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, with shifting priorities
Experience navigating the Oracle support organization, creating and working Oracle SR’s to resolution using Oracle Support, database patching, and database upgrades
Strong understanding/knowledge and experience with Oracle architecture and tools, including but not limited to :
Oracle Memory/Process Architecture
Automated Storage Management [ASM]
Networks and how they impact Oracle
Server architecture
Data Pump
Knowledge of RMAN
Oracle Real application Cluster- RAC
Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c/13c
Preferred Skills:
Education:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Business or related field required
Preference given to Oracle Certified candidates
5 years experience with Oracle EBS environments 12.2.x

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
