Project Manager I - Provider Network

Position Purpose: With the Iowa Total Care Network Development team, you will coordinate all of the network adequacy activities across all (3) lines of business (Medicare, Medicaid and Marketplace). 

• With the Medicare and Marketplace products, you will manage reporting to corporate stakeholders and research adequacy gaps by county/specialty.

• Assign recruitment targets to negotiating team, assign data cleanup efforts to network operations team, also monitor for new gaps in existing service areas.

• With the Medicaid product, manage our B3 & LTSS Network Adequacy P4P project plan efforts.

• Assist with establishment and maintenance of corporate project management methodology and other department procedures.

• Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans.

• Effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders.

• Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.

• Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company's objectives.

• Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.

• Monitor the creation of all project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards including design documents, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of project management experience. Experience working with and leading diverse groups and matrix managed environments. Healthcare experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Understands the Iowa provider network/ the provider contracting and loading lifecycle/ network adequacy concepts

Ability to manage large amounts of data from many different sources and turn that into actionable direction

Ability to communicate in a way that simplifies/distills all that data down into key points
