The Role

• Contract Type: Part-Time Employee (Remote).
• Schedule:
• 🕒 Guaranteed weekend teaching hours.
• 🗓️ Fixed schedule: Saturday & Sunday 00:00-05:15 SAST

Your Responsibilities

• 👩‍🏫 Teach students using a well-developed curriculum and teaching methodology.
• 💬 Inspire and support students in reaching their language goals.
• ✍️ Provide constructive feedback and effective error correction.
• 👥 Manage a virtual classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency.

Minimum Requirements

• 🎓 National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.
• 🗣️ Excellent English proficiency (neutral accent).
• 💻 Strong computer literacy and troubleshooting skills.
• 🏅 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate (advantageous).
• ✅ ESL/TEFL or any teaching experience (advantageous).

• We offer extensive training for all candidates, so don't be shy to apply if you have never taught.
• Training is five working days of dedicated platform, methodology, and lesson cycle training.

Technical Essentials

🌐 Connectivity:

• 🚀 Stable FIBRE internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps upload/download).
• 🔌 LAN cable connection (no Wi-Fi).

💻 PC Specifications:

• 🖥️ Intel® Core™ i5 6th Gen processor (or equivalent).
• 💾 Quad-core CPU and 8GB RAM.

🔋 Backup Power:

• 🔌 UPS or Portable Power Station (4–5 hours battery life).
• 📡 Mini-UPS for your fibre router.

🎧 Other Requirements:

• 🎤 Noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam (backup recommended).
• 🏡 Quiet, well-lit, professional workspace.
