  • Shape and define overarching content design guidelines and workflows.

  • Lead on copy, brand personality and tone.

  • Take ownership of and advocate for content design in an agile environment.

  • Demonstrate a forensic understanding of customer needs; pouring this insight into irresistible digital experiences.

  • Play a role in shaping and implementing our design strategy for the product area.

  • Plan and support research for your journeys and products to better understand our customers and their financial lives

  • Understand lab design goals and challenges in the context of our business and engineering priorities

  • Engage with product and engineering leadership to understand objectives and opportunities.

  • Offer leadership to a team of multi-disciplinary designers to support decision-making, delivery and team culture.

What you'll need

  • Experience of embedding Content Design as an integral part of the product development process.

  • A proven history of evolving new practices, through contribution or leadership.

  • Hands-on evidence of coaching others or line management.

  • A varied portfolio showcasing how you use your specialism to generate customer-centred outcomes and influence the business.

  • Experience developing, contributing to and working with design systems.

  • Experience working with innovative design tools, such as Figma.

  • The confidence to work across a complex business landscape – ideally, financial services.

  • A collaborative mindset looking to guide a busy multi-disciplinary team.

  • The personality to influence and manage stakeholders across product, engineering, risk, legal and branding teams.
