The Finance Systems Manager is responsible for developing best practices around NetSuite, optimizing NetSuite for our business needs, and train our personnel to effectively. The Finance Systems Manager role is a member of the Corporate Accounting team and will work closely with the NetSuite System Administration team to enable our NetSuite ERP to meet accounting user needs. The Finance System Manager will transform business specifications into system capabilities. This role will report to a Sr Accounting Manager.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and optimize accounting systems: Oversee the administration and maintenance of multiple subsidiaries in NetSuite, oversee financial system functionality related to the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, revenue recognition and fixed assets.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with NetSuite System Administration , Finance, and Operations teams to define and document system requirements, project management the implementation and ensure seamless integration across departments.
- Process improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and optimize accounting and financial processes and implement system enhancements, leveraging NetSuite’s capabilities.
- Project management: Assist in system enhancement and integration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Reporting: Stream NetSuite reporting for accounting and finance teams to minimize usage of custom report. staff. Identify areas where NetSuite’s capabilities can be leveraged to enhance current reporting.
- Training and support: Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams on system usage, best practices, and new features.
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration and system issues, working with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
- Compliance and security: Ensure that financial systems and integrations comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and security standards.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and integrations.
What you will need to be successful
- 5+ years of experience in managing accounting systems, with at least 4 years focused on NetSuite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics; proficiency in SQL and other data management tools is a plus.
- Project Management: Proven experience in leading and/or assisting complex system enhancement projects, with strong project management skills.
- Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a remote environment and communicate business needs to NetSuite Adminstration team.
- NetSuite Suite Foundations required. Admin/ERP Consultant is a plus.

Salary Range:
$99500.00 To $159500.00 / year
