BPaaS is a new business line within SimCorp, delivering Technology Enabled Business Services, leveraging SimCorp with the best of our market-proven technology platforms. The team consists of renowned experts to create world class investment accounting services (IAS), investment operations services (IOS) and data management services (DMS). Ensuring successful adoption of our technology platforms is crucial to ensure we reach our full potential, which is why this role is essential to us. 

We are looking for Principal Software Engineer with interest in DevOps, who will join exiting team of experts. The team is building deployment system to automate creation of integrated client environments according to BPaaS standards.

We aim for automation in every step of the process to reduce configuration drift. The desire to understand the complex ecosystem, do reverse engineering and system analysis, build all possible automation should be your main drivers.

What you will be responsible for 

In your daily work, you will collaborate with your team to: 

  • Design and implement automations to enable integration of multiple applications through deployment system.
  • Ensure fully automated monitoring, security, optimal performance, and scalability of the developed solution. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues. 
  • Become a recognized expert by absorbing knowledge from team members. 

What we value 

We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest. 

  • Five years of Object-Oriented Programming experience (preferably C# or Java) is a must-have.
  • Interest in system analysis, automation and reverse-engineering.
  • Understanding of APIs (exposing, consuming and building).
  • Azure (Web Apps, Azure functions, pipelines) and related certifications.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability for change and progressive attitude is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
