Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join Bulletproof, part of The GRC Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and communicating B2B propositions for cyber businesses, ideally to both an SME and Corporate audience, understanding every stage of the customer journey from initial engagement to off-boarding. The role holder will work closely with both the GRC Central Marketing Team and local Bulletproof Marketing and Commercial teams, to ensure we deliver great experiences that are communicated to the right audiences with the right message at the right time. The role holder will also be responsible for the day to day management of the Bulletproof Marketing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting project to define a cyber service as part of the wider GRC B2B services


Responsibilities
  • Develop the strategic marketing plans that will enable us to meet commercial objectives for our cyber security and data protection solutions across chosen markets;
  • Work closely with other product marketing and product management leaders across the group to develop integrated propositions and strategies for cross sell.
  • Work with the GRC central marketing team (digital, content, design and campaigns) and local teams to create and deliver compelling marketing campaigns and propositions across our target markets, utilising all appropriate channels;
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of resources and training for all customer facing colleagues and partners to ensure that we market, sell and deliver effectively
  • Work alongside our customer facing teams (Sales, Account Management, Service Delivery and Consultancy) to drive adoptions, upsell and advocacy
  • Define KPIs for product success and measure GTM effectiveness to optimize future product launches.
  • Endlessly pursue a deep understanding of the customer and user problems, informed through research and data analysis
  • Create product marketing materials, including case studies, datasheets, presentations, and customer success stories.
  • Work with Sales and Operations teams to design and implement strategies to deliver customer success across the end-to-end customer journey and from initial engagement to exit
  • Manage a team of 3 Marketing professionals.
  • In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the job holder may be required to perform other duties as assigned from time to time by their manager or a senior leader.
Skills and experience required
  • Experience in product marketing planning through the life cycle of inception to launch to delivery to sunset.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to translate concepts on a product roadmap into marketing initiatives that are delivered and have the desired business impact.
  • Commercially focused with the ability to translate sales budgets into marketing activity.
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Customer-focused and with a style that is collaborative and inclusive, generating buy-in from direct reports, colleagues and senior management.
  • Strategically and operationally astute; creating a compelling vision and setting stretching and effective objectives to all teams and colleagues; driving peers to deliver the highest results.
  • An ability to work well within a complex matrix, with a range of personalities and groups with overlapping agendas.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, and ability to prioritise tasks effectively based on business needs.
  • Experience of the cyber/information security sector and experience of leading B2B product marketing preferable.
  • Experience of managing small teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to learn new tools and techniques to enhance personal and business performance.
  • Excellent content writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media platforms, email marketing, online advertising, SEO and content optimisation strategies.
