Air Liquide Global Export Materials (ALGEM) is the Global Gas Sourcing and Supply Chain Platform of Air Liquide Group for Electronic specialty materials and Industrial Merchant materials in APAC, managing more than 2,500 shipments a year, for all Air Liquide Affiliates in the world.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The HSE, Risk & Compliance Manager is key to support ALGEM and its activities to be be in line with the Group Standards and International Regulations relevant to its fields. The incumbent will also act as the International Trade Compliance Representative (ITCR) as well as the Regulatory Officer for ALGEM by being the owner of the following processes and exercises:
  • Lead the ALGEM organization in management of the HSE programs to ensure safety, and regulatory compliance of ALGEM products and services with the applicable law & mandatory regulations.
  • Manage and develop the ITCRs exercises to be the owner on the ALGEM's visibility on its duties.
  • Ensure the compliance with Group Procedures and internal requirements linked to ALGEM's activity and operations.
  • Direct ALGEM activities to maintain compliance in AL Group (IMS) and international ISO standards.
  • Manage & own the ALGEM supplier management program and lead the qualification and audits of critical suppliers.
  • Manage the risk management program and oversee ALGEM risk assessment activities including developing organization continuity plans.
  • Develop relevant KPIs to report on progress.

Are you a MATCH?

The successful candidates need to have the following skills and characteristics:

  • Experience in International regulations
  • A good knowledge on Transportation/Logistics and/or Dangerous Good
  • Familiarity with the concepts of Process Risk Analysis, Business Continuity Plan, Business Risk Analysis
  • Ability to work efficiently in a very international environment with stakeholders across different countries (China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Europe, US, etc..)
  • Very organized, rigorous, reliable, analytical, transparent, diligent and independent
  • IATA or IMDG recommended; EIGA is a bonus
