What you will do here:

  • Collaborate with the customer, appraisers, vendors and other key players to investigate claim details and gather information or documentation in order to make decisions to move claims forward to closure in a timely manner
  • Analyze the information gathered, interpret insurance policy wordings, determine coverage, and assess damages for the purpose of indemnity
  • Maintain meaningful and timely communication with the customer via text, email and telephone
  • Demonstrate commitment to continued learning and being curious, keeping your finger on the pulse of market trends, including but not limited to, legislative changes to auto coverage within in each provincial jurisdiction
  • Adapt quickly to new & enhanced system/IT technologies or process improvements


What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum 12 months experience in a claims adjusting role
  • Passion for helping people during difficult times navigate the claims process from open to close
  • Adaptable and agile in a rapidly evolving business 
  • Demonstrates a passion for customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment  
  • A forward thinker who is able to foster new ideas 
  • Superior organizational skills and results-driven  
  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict management skills  
  • Ability to learn and work effectively in a hybrid environment 

Join our dynamic team where you'll experience a blend of excitement and variety in your daily work! Our partial queue system ensures that your time is balanced between addressing new claims as they arrive and diligently managing your ongoing caseloads to resolution. You'll enjoy a structured yet flexible work schedule within our core business hours of Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm MST. With a 7-hour shift (35 hours per week), you'll have the perfect balance to thrive professionally and personally.

Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:

$51,600.00 - $77,400.00
