Job Description

Summary: 
The SUNRX Regional Manager II drives and manages the sales process within assigned territory of business for prospective accounts. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•    Continually ensures assigned territory growth and profitability by developing solid business relationships with new clients for 340B Holdings products and services;  

•    Develops and executes the more complex and financially impacting sales strategies and tactics in the following areas: territory planning, pre-request for proposal prospecting, financial illustration creation, relationship development, presentation and delivery (finalist or other), negotiations, closing and managing contracts; 

•    Identifies high-value/key leads that fit within client profiles for the purpose of marketing 340B programs. Qualifies identified leads to ensure client(s) meet underwriting specifications and drives same to revenue goals for 340B Holdings within specified region. Initiates contact and follow-up on sales meetings and teleconferences;  

•    Meets sales objectives and targets at profitable rates and move prospects into implementation; 

•     Meet established sales goals and quota schedule per plan year’s objectives;  

•    Works with sales support to initiate customized proposals and communication for prospective clients.  Develops familiarity with potential clients to best meet their needs and to field inquiries; 

•    Works with 340B Pharmacy Network team to drive pharmacy network development associated with client profile;

•    Organizes and conducts sales presentations, site visits and product demonstrations to prospective clients; 

•    Represents 340B Holdings in a consistent, effective and professional manner to best develop new clients; 

•    Fosters ongoing mutually beneficial relationships with national and regional consultants within the healthcare industry as directed

•    Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all offerings and products; may advise lower level associates on both functional techniques and administrative issues.

•    Maintains the positive branding of 340B Holdings within the 340B industry; 

•    Demonstrates results-oriented sales planning, works in a positive and motivating way with internal counterparts and external clients;

•    Updates SalesForce with client information as well as all activities completed in day to day work

•    Educates lower level sales associates, peers and colleagues on market dynamics and competitive landscape

•    Exercise leadership by coaching and mentoring lower level sales associates, peers and colleagues in this same role

•    Proven track record of successfully selling key accounts over $500,000 in revenue for the 340B administrator


Supervisory Responsibilities                               
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Provides functional and administrative guidance to peers and lower level Regional Manager Sales Associates as required or directed.

Education and/or Experience                               
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in marketing, business development or related field. MBA preferred and seven (7) plus years sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three (3) years specifically selling 340B programs.  Experience working with related health care management industries required. Prior 340B experience preferred

Computer Skills 
Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 
None currently required.

Other Skills and Abilities                               
Proven success selling healthcare products and services, along with demonstrated sales results in a related healthcare industry. Prior experience selling directly to top executives and consulting firms

Working Hours 
This is an exempt level position requiring one to work the hours needed to get the job done.  Therefore one must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required.  This may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business.  Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Position Location
Must live within the assigned territory of business or be San Diego based.

Travel
This position requires domestic travel of up to 40% of the time with little or no advance notice.
