Description

Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects maintaining consistency with company standards, commitments, and quality. The Senior Project Manager is also required to manage the detailing teams.

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Maintain projects and coordinate rebar shop drawings and material releases.
  • Communicate with the customers to ensure timely submittals and delivery.
  • Interpret structural drawings and relay its intent to design teams.
  • Review rebar shop drawings to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Review project specifications and communicate with the detailing team to ensure quality and project requirements are met.
  • Coordinate project activity with production and billing department.
  • Maintain project status documents and project reports.
  • Manage project budget and materials, to maintain profitability.
  • Creation, control, and record keeping of project documents.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Understanding and knowledgeable in construction project management or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 5 years of rebar detailing, construction field engineering or structural design experience.
  • Rebar Detailing Experience a PLUS.
  • Experience in construction methods and blueprint reading.
  • Document Control and Data entry.
  • Critical thinking skills, and deductive reasoning abilities.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong time management and self-discipline.

 

Working conditions

This is a Remote/Work from Home position (after training). 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally visit jobsites with outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read a computer screen for extended periods.
  • Capability to interpret detailed text, charts, graphs, and project timelines.
  • Ability to handle electronic devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and other peripherals.
  • Ability to sit at a desk for long durations (with breaks, as needed).
  • Adequate hearing to participate in virtual meetings and phone calls.
  • Clear verbal communication for effective interaction with teams, stakeholders, and clients.
