Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Overview

RecruitGo is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to work with our client based in Ireland. Our client is a M&E Design Firm. In this role, you will be mechanically leading the company and targeting new standards and good-quality design

Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone innovative, empathic and community-oriented, adaptable and flexible, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and possess impeccable communication skills in both written and verbal using the English language. 

Responsibilities:

• Attend design team meetings
• Mechanically leading the company and targeting new standards and good-quality of design
• Mechanical drafting and design in AutoCAD (Revit if available)
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, and reports
• Production of both outline and detailed design, and construction drawings
• Undertake feasibility studies and investigative reports
• Periodic site attendance and inspections for snagging & verification
• Utilizing design software packages with high levels of attention to detail and formatting abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Typically, around 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
• A team player with good oral and written communication skills
• Excellent English required
• Financially astute with effective planning and organization skills
• Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges qualifications & experience
• Willingness to learn and challenge for better delivery of service to our clients.
• Mechanical or other relevant trade backgrounds are welcome
• Revit experience.
