SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Data Specialist for our Data Ecosystems team to perform a wide range of tasks to help support our data customers and subscribers.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Utilize Salesforce to communicate with data customers and assist with a wide range of questions and problems.
  • Perform initial data analysis for data accuracy questions from subscribers and work with data engineers to resolve.
  • Utilize tools such as Postman and custom applications to troubleshoot and validate data issues.
  • Aid Senior team members for data collection and analysis tasks.
  • Provisioning of standard data customer accounts to provide access to Bright’s data resources.
  • Work in JIRA and Confluence to update stories, maintain and build documentation for support.
  • Meet SLA requirements for support ticket response and resolution times.
  • Escalate complex issues to Senior and Engineer team members.
  • Work with multiple teams within Bright to provide internal data support.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience supporting customers through a ticketing system, with a high level of communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and delimited data sources for entry-level data analysis and manipulation.
  • Some experience working with Atlassian JIRA in a kanban or agile scrum environment in a task-oriented position a plus.
  • May have worked with Atlassian Confluence, writing technical documentation and procedures, creating rich articles and content structures ensuring data is synchronized with JIRA.
  • Have possibly worked with different types of APIs and API data flow concepts, including RESTful, OData, Postman and API documentation standards. Having worked with RETS and RESO Web API is a big advantage.
  • Worked previously in the Real Estate industry, with an understanding of the agent-broker-client relationships and the responsibilities of the Multiple-Listing Service (MLS) is highly desired.
  • Experience with SalesForce CRM or similar for ticket queues, contact management and client communications would be a plus.
  • An associate degree in computer science or a related field is desirable, or equivalent work experience.

 

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is also eligible for annual performance-based bonuses.
