POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Inside Sales focused on the MD customer segment. Works with their direct reports to ensure that they are meeting performance and call objectives. They will also work with Sales Leadership to help support selling efforts of Inside Sales Representatives and to work with some designated accounts as assigned. This position will involve coaching Inside Sales Representatives on day-to-day sales activities, selling skills, sales execution, and accessing ongoing training needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job.
- Provides overall Leadership for Inside Sales Representatives to ensure a common vision, and that objectives are understood and met.
- Leads the development and execution of sales strategies for direct reports in conjunction with the VP of Sales.
- Leads a high-performance team, developing and strengthening staff and providing ongoing coaching and feedback. Develops teamwork with other departments, communicates goals to the department, sets the pace and is proactive.
- Conducts formal and informal performance assessments of staff, including performance versus expectations and goals, behaviors, and leadership potential, and seek the same for self.
- Manages key operating, performance, and quality metrics to drive optimal results.
- Fosters a positive and engaging environment that encourages teamwork and inspires performance.
- Determines training needs for direct reports and works closely with VP of Sales, Director of Sales Training, and Medical Affairs to address needs.
- Ensures that promotions and sales and marketing campaigns are implemented by Inside Sales Representatives.
- Uses sales reporting tools to determine progress vs goals, access opportunities.
- Understands and be able to coach Inside Sales Representatives in using CRM to log all activity and keep records updated.
- Performs administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports.
- Builds and leads a highly performing team, secures the best talent, develops, and strengthens staff and future Leaders, and provides ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Conducts formal and informal performance assessments of staff, including performance versus expectations and goals, behaviors, and Leadership potential, and seek the same for self.
- Actively participates in required training, development programs, and electives as suit one’s needs, and supports colleagues, trainers, and management as appropriate with these efforts.

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES / PROFICIENCIES – Satisfactorily achieving and/or meeting the following Experience, Competencies, and Proficiencies are essential duties of the job:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience required. Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales, or other relevant professional experience required. Demonstrated success in growing sales. Manager experience preferred.
