Permanent part time position (30 hours per week)
Cabrini Corporate Office, Hawthorn East & Work From Home 2 days per week (once training completed)
$35.84ph + 12.5% super

How you will make an impact
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Billing and Collections Officer to join our Patient Accounts team at Cabrini Health. The position requires a candidate who is self-motivated and who has had exposure to medical billing with Medicare, DVA and Private Health Funds. The successful candidate will also have a strong focus on customer service, with accurate billing skills and take pride and ownership in their work.
Your day will look a little like this:
Billing and claiming for a variety of services
Debt follow up / Collections
Management of claim rejections
Liaising efficiently with internal and external stakeholder queries
About you
To be successful in this role, your experience will include:
Relevant Medical Billing and debt collection
Accounts receivable experience in a health care setting
MS Office and WebPas
High level attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
