Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings
• Produce verbatim transcripts while adhering to specific style guides
• Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
• Excellent auditory skills with the ability to discern nuanced dialogue
• Strong adherence to deadlines and client-defined style requirements
• Exceptional literacy skills, including spelling, grammar, and comprehension
• Proficient typing speed and accuracy
• Ability to navigate complex audio/text content, including potentially sensitive material
• Familiarity with legal terminology is essential
• Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Currently, this opportunity is not open to residents of Massachusetts or California

• Significant experience in legal transcription or related fields
