Who we are:
At Better Life Partners, we provide what it takes to heal from addiction. Wherever. Whenever.
We focus on bringing high quality, accessible and value-based effective tech-enabled care to those with Addiction Disorders, especially those in communities for whom traditional care has been found lacking. We provide evidence-based, scalable, holistic healthcare while working alongside community-based organizations to ensure that our care is accessible, non-punitive and responsive to our communities. We build trusted relationships and healing spaces to nourish Belonging, Love, and Purpose.
At Better Life Partners, we are revolutionizing the way substance use disorders are treated, and we're looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Innovation and Execution Clinical Lead to drive innovation and lead the execution of new services, programs, and initiatives.
The Role:
In this role, you will partner with organizational leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, design and test innovative solutions, and manage all aspects of solution implementation. This is a dynamic and influential position, and the ideal candidate will be a driven healthcare professional who is passionate about transforming the healthcare industry, skilled at using data to drive decision-making, and adept at iterating and diving into the details so we are positioned to achieve our vision.
What you will do:
- Innovation Strategy and Planning: Collaborate cross-functionally to understand needs, opportunities and ideas from the business and our members. Use this understanding to generate new ideas and solutions. Use data to prioritize opportunities for improvement and net new initiatives to support the strategic vision and mission of the organization.
- Test, Iterate and Scale Projects: Lead the design, test, iteration and scale of multiple projects from initiation to launch, managing competing priorities and deadlines. Design rapid tests of a manual nature to learn and iterate prior to scale. Rely on data to drive decision-making, influence others (including senior leadership) and achieve OKRs. Manage timelines, identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across Better Life Partners. Regularly collaborate and lead workgroups with internal stakeholders to drive projects forward.
- Evaluation and Performance: Take a data-driven approach to conduct project evaluations measuring impact, gathering feedback, and identifying areas for further improvement. Utilize insights to optimize processes, enhance efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
You are a good fit if you have:

- Given that this role is focused on clinical initiatives, experience working in healthcare is required, ideally as a healthcare provider (ie, nurse, counselor or medical assistant)
- 4+ years of experience in roles such as process improvement, healthcare operations, consulting, and/or service design
- Able to excel in environments where the work can be ambiguous and complicated, and still rapidly create and deliver solutions in support of our vision.
- Bring proven experience leading large scale or multi-disciplinary projects
- See yourself as an expert with communication and interpersonal skills, and are comfortable using influence instead of authority to drive collaboration with stakeholders
- Comfortable with basic data analysis using Google Sheets or Excel (ie, VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc)
- Balance being a strategic & creative problem-solver, but are also comfortable with diving deeply into processes, technical issues, and other details to gain a deeper understanding required for recommendation
- Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with agility and ease to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Are comfortable with iterative, pilot-driven implementations
- Are a team player with an “all hands on deck” positive attitude
- Have a desire to work in a rapidly evolving and growing company
