Job description

Position Overview

As a Logistics Operations Specialist Jr. you'll be supporting the logistics and supply chain operations by assisting with the coordination, management, and execution of day-to-day activities. This junior-level role works closely with senior logistics staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, inventory control, and efficient transportation processes.Shifts available: 4:00pm to 1:00am or 12:00pm to 9:00amQualifications:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in freight auditing, logistics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis tools. Familiarity with freight management systems and Excel is essential.
  • Knowledge: Not as important. Be open minded, coachable, and naturally curious!

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Auditing: Review and analyze freight invoices for truckload and LTL shipments to ensure all charges are accurate and consistent with agreed-upon rates and services.
  • Operational Audit: Monitor and audit live shipment data to ensure operational compliance and accuracy in service delivery.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile shipment data with financial records to identify and resolve any discrepancies in billing and charges.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed audit reports and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of any audit findings.
  • Compliance: Ensure all audits are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
