We are now looking for dynamic and entrepreneurial individuals to be part of the founding team in France! Team France will be a crack squad of specialists in product / sales / marketing / implementation / support working to build a deep understanding of our users and grow through product leadership in one of Europe's biggest ecommerce markets.
Our goal is to become the first choice solution for any ecommerce merchant or enterprise doing business in France.
As a
Sales executive, you will help Base.com clients to transform and grow their e-commerce businesses. You will report direct to DG France (ex Cdiscount, Mckinsey & Co) and will play a pivotal role growing our French customer base. Experience
- 3 - 6 years of professional experience in sales roles (preferably B2B e-commerce saas or seller recruitment for marketplaces / fulfillment services)
- excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in simple and accessible way
- ability to conduct live product demos for prospective customers, across all levels of seniority
- track record of high performance, excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative
- proficient in CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Hubspot, linkedin sales navigator, storeleads etc)
Must Have
- knowledge of the French e-commerce landscape and hands-on experience in e-commerce related software/SaaS products, e.g. Amazon Seller Central, Cdiscount Seller Zone, Shopify, Prestashop etc.
- Native or bi-lingual French, full proficiency in English (B2), other European languages or Chinese is a plus.
Tasks
- Lead generation: Build pipeline by generating and handling leads from multiple channels (inbound, outbound, events, networking etc) and identifying new sources
- Sales presentations: deliver demos and consultations to understand client needs and showcase our solution
- Sales cycle management: from lead nurturing through negotiation to closing and follow up
- Build team France! Work closely with our marketing, implementation, tech and support to create a happy, high performing team and business.
