Opportunity 

Be a part of an innovative team at the intersection of healthcare and advanced technology. As the UI Engineer - AI Applications, you will have the unique opportunity to design and develop user interfaces that integrate with advanced AI models and co-pilot tools. You’ll design and build responsive, interactive, and intuitive UIs that enhance how users interact with AI-powered solutions. You’ll be working alongside a team of passionate engineers, designers, and AI experts who are committed to innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Advanced User Interfaces: Design and implement intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces that integrate co-pilots and AI agents to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and AI specialists to align UI development with the overall product vision and AI capabilities.
  • Prototype and Iterate: Build rapid prototypes to explore new interface concepts, gather feedback, and refine based on user interactions and performance data.
  • User-Centric Design: Apply user-centered design principles and collaborate with UX designers to create interfaces that are intuitive and easy to navigate.
  • Maintain Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, adhering to best practices in frontend development.
  • API Integration and Design: Contribute to designing and implementing APIs that enable seamless integration of AI agentic tools, ensuring efficient communication between frontend and backend systems.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proven Experience with Modern Frontend Frameworks: Strong expertise with 3+ years of experience in React and other contemporary frontend technologies
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript (TypeScript preferred) and experience with state management libraries or patterns such as Redux, Context API, or similar solutions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) to ensure code reliability, and optimize web performance.
  • Knowledge of Client-Server communication: Familiarity with WebSocket or Server-Sent Events (SSE) for implementing live data updates.
  • Knowledge of modern Authentication: Understanding of authentication techniques, including Basic Authentication, Cookies/Sessions, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and OAuth 2.0.
  • Understanding of key AI concepts, including Prompt Engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI Agents, with the ability to collaborate on integrating AI-driven features into user interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Built user interfaces specifically designed for applications powered by large language models or AI agent systems
  • Developed interfaces that support real-time collaboration for enhanced user interaction
  • Actively contributed to open source projects related to AI tooling and interface development

Compensation and Benefits  

The compensation range for this position is $130,000-$140,000 annually.
