Job description

Responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions using X12 and/or EDIFACT standards such as 850, 855, 856, 997, 810 etc. To optimize the flow of sales and purchasing.
Work closely with logistics teams to effectively integrate information exchange processes with 3PL, Customers, suppliers, through EDI systems.
Configure and manage SAP IDocs to ensure accurate data transmission between internal and external systems.
Lead interface mapping using SAP Process Integration/Orchestration (PI/PO) or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to effectively integrate heterogeneous systems via EDI.
Monitor, analyze and resolve issues related to EDI data transmissions, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

Requirements:

Fluent English (preferably as main language), as the projects to be carried out in USA and Europe require verbal (TEAMS) and written communication with customers and suppliers who only speak English, (Spanish is a plus but not essential).
Experience in the beverage or CPG industry desirable but not essential
Significant experience implementing and managing EDI solutions, specifically with X12 and/or EDIFACT standards.
In-depth knowledge of sales, purchasing and logistics processes in enterprise environments.
Knowledge and experience with XML structures
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing interface mapping in SAP PI/PO or CPI for system integration.
Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
Analytical skills and problem-solving ability to address challenges related to data exchange and systems integration.

Education and Experience:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, International Business, or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in the implementation and maintenance of EDI solutions, preferably with focus on X12, as well as SAP environments.
Location: Remote, with availability to travel occasionally if necessary and valid VISA if located in MX.
