Global Product Owner- Cleaners & Disinfectants

Neogen’s Animal Safety Division is currently seeking candidates for a Product Owner position focusing on Cleaners, Disinfectants and Water Treatment products.  This position is a part of the Product Management Department and would manage a segment of Neogen’s portfolio of Biosecurity products. This will be a remote role, however coming to our Lexington, KY facility will be asked upon.

The Product Owner is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:

• Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
• Defining the product vision including market analysis, sales tracking, pricing strategies, packaging and positioning.
• Working closely with manufacturing, sales, marketing, regulatory, project management office, accounting and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The Product Owner's job also includes new product development and ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of:

• The animal health business including a background in biosecurity products including cleaners, disinfectants and/or water treatment.
• Exceptional organizational skills, project management and product development background
• The ability to communicate effectively thorough out all levels of the Company

Qualified candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; Two to Three year’s professional sales or marketing experience in agriculture or an industry related field
