About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our growing team!

What you will accomplish with us:

  • Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.

  • Lead/participate in business requirements specification workshops to specify IT solutions.

  • Conduct impact analyses and effort estimations to recommend, approve, and document IT solutions using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team.

  • Support the development of solutions and technical analyses performed.

  • Support quality assurance activities and acceptance testing.

  • Assist the product manager in defining and prioritizing the product backlog.

  • Document user stories in a way that they are understood by designers and the quality assurance team.

  • Identify and communicate the impacts on business processes to support change management in business units using a train-the-trainer approach.

  • Build and maintain robust, accurate, and accessible functional documentation for all stakeholders in the company.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in large companies

  • Good knowledge of data standards in insurance (CSIO)

  • Expertise in business processes

  • Experience in large strategic projects

  • Demonstrated leadership

  • Team spirit

  • Rigor and technological curiosity

  • Project experience in agile mode

  • Bilingualism in oral and written (French/English) – Required to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
