The National Data Implementation Specialist (NDIS) plays a crucial role in delivering analytics services to regional consulting practices that provide targeted and meaningful strategies to clients. The NDIS provides leadership, time-management, and organizational processes to the company’s efforts in onboarding, updating, and offloading clients to its analytics platform, Infused Analytics. The NDIS manages the entire lifecycle of implementation and works with key stakeholders to ensure the execution of the quality employee / employer experience (QEX).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical / Execution
- Work with healthcare providers and health plans to gather, map, and integrate relevant data into the Infused Analytics systems.
- Work with HUB’s data warehouse team to gather, map, and integrate relevant data from TPAs, PBMs, point solution vendors and carriers into HUB’s Infused Analytics platform.
- Ensure that data feeds from various sources (e.g., medical, pharmacy, vision, EMR, third-party claims systems, etc.) are correctly configured for Infused Analytics’ system by the data warehouse team for the Infused Analytics platform.
- Customize and configure the Infused Analytics platform according to client requirements, ensuring that data visualization and reporting tools meet service team and client needs.
- Identify and resolve configuration issues, working closely with technical teams when necessary.
- Regularly perform data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of information within the platform.
- Collaborate with data analysts, local financial / service teams to validate the correctness of the integrated health plan data received from carriers.
- Report and resolve any data discrepancies, liaising with the source systems when necessary.
- Continuously monitor the health plan data for inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing data that might compromise the data's integrity or jeopardize the accuracy of reporting.
- Ensure that the data warehouse vendor’s data cleaning and preprocessing methods are in place and adhered to during the implementation phase.
- Ensure that all health plan data adheres to relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Work with IT teams to ensure that data storage and transfer methods are secure, minimizing the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access.
- Maintain detailed documentation of implementation processes, configurations, and training materials.
- Document best practices and lessons learned from each implementation to refine future processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement version control practices, ensuring that any changes to the health plan data can be tracked and reverted if necessary.
- Train end-users and stakeholders on system functionalities, ensuring they can navigate and utilize the platform efficiently.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system optimization based on user feedback.
- Coordinate with other team members, stakeholders, and third-party vendors during implementation projects process.
- Monitor and report on project timelines, ensuring that milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Maintain detailed documentation of implementation processes, configurations, and training materials.
- Document best practices and lessons learned from each implementation to refine future processes.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, ensuring open lines of communication and mutual respect. This aids in smoother problem-solving and quicker resolutions when issues arise.
- Assist the Clinical Informatics team in testing the Infused Analytics portal, including products and services housed within the portal itself; this includes cross supporting the operations and employee benefits strategy divisions as well.
- Regularly validate custom reports against raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Project Management / Documentation
- Work with the Data Analytics Program Manager in obtaining necessary legal documents required for initiating the implementation process, including client set up file, NDAs, LOI/LOAs, confidentiality agreements, etc.
- Collaborate closely with field HUB offices to understand specific data and reporting requirements.
- Utilize the Infused Analytics systems and other relevant tools to generate tailored reports based on these service team requirements, ensuring that the reports are accurate, comprehensive, and formatted for easy interpretation.
- Act as a central point of contact for all the intake request process for reporting needs across the agency.
- Collaborate with various departments and units to understand their specific reporting requirements and ensure that these needs are being met consistently and efficiently.
- Facilitate communication between departments to avoid duplicate efforts and ensure that there's a unified approach to data reporting agency wide.
- Assist regional HUBs as a point of escalation for reporting issues, which may include system downtimes, ad-hoc reporting, RFP support or system demos, etc.
Strategy Support and Leadership
- As appropriate, participate in webinars and seminars for both internal and external stakeholders – sessions may include general topics and education to clients to more advanced topics, related to data management and other analytics or clinical solutions
- Play a significant role and be a contributor to the overall success of the national employee benefits team and assist in supporting the same successes within the regional HUBs
- Partner with sales and practices leaders within the regional HUBs to ensure reporting packages meet the regional client needs and to update the regional HUBs related to legislative changes that impact reporting or financial obligations
- Where appropriate, attend prospect finalist meetings to be the voice of HUB’s analytics and clinical services division and to share the value proposition HUB brings to prospective clients
- Where appropriate, attend client quarterly or annual informatics meetings where data or clinical support is required (where there is sparse coverage in the regional HUB)
Vendor Relations
- Work (where appropriate) with HUB’s Data Analytics Program Manager in supporting vendor partnerships that enable HUB to execute on its deliverables and provide documentation when SLAs are not meeting the agency’s expectations (i.e., prolonged implementation timelines, poor data quality, system outages, poor vendor relations, etc.)
- Alongside HUB’s Data Analytics Program Manager, work with other vendors in the ecosystem to ensure reporting infrastructure and data reporting capabilities meet the firm’s needs (i.e., Infused Analytics, Snowflake, Elementum, etc.)
Client Commitment
- Foster a personal relationship with client accounts to support operations in the local markets
- Partner with local teams to ensure that all data reporting needs are met
- Establish and maintain strategies to improve operational efficiencies
- Maintains and continually demonstrates a standard of excellence in data management
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- 5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, consulting, or project management highly desired
- A minimum of two (2) years in a data analytics role required
- Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred, master’s preferred
- CPHQ, RHIT, or CPHIMS designation a plus
- PMP, Blackbelt Certification is encouraged

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
