Job Summary

Plan, organize and manage the efficient operation of all Cloud Hosting platforms (Private and Public Cloud) and all related technology and processes in support of the North American business operations. This is achieved through the effective orchestration of people, processes, technology and service providers. Develop and maintain collaborative, robust relationships with key business stakeholders and peer IT leaders in North America and at the Group level. The Director of Cloud Hosting will drive compliance and ensure adherence to ITIL Governance frameworks. Drive Operational Compliance by providing guidance, coordination, and reporting of audit and security remediation activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


● Accountable for setting clear and compelling strategy for North American Cloud Hosting and
manage budget related to capital and ongoing operating costs
● Manage vendor/carrier strategy and execution
● Build and maintain appropriate and effective business relationships to ensure understanding of
business requirements and future plans
● Manage Level 2 and Level 3 support issues including major incident management
● Manage all Cloud invoice processing and work with the Accounts Payable department to ensure
timely payment within corporate guidelines
● Build, develop, mentor, and manage the team’s capabilities.
● Identify and facilitate operational efficiency improvements by establishing appropriate risk
mitigation strategies and implementing service improvement plans
● Develop knowledge base to enable effective issue management and resolution within Level 1, 2
& 3 support including a repository of architectural and technical documentation
● Manage design and implementation of DR and failover capabilities
● Manage OCC Support for NA including monitoring, ticket management, outages, Level 1
support, etc.

● Experience operating in IT organizations as large as 100 employees, in companies with
revenues at least $1B USD.
● Deep and broad Governance experience with a particular emphasis on finances, process
creation and refinement, and ensuring compliance to standards.
● Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to concisely explain
technology solutions and business challenges in presentation format.
● Strong business acumen and clear understanding of business processes.
● Driving organizational change through partnering with others to identify opportunities for
improvement and process enhancement,
● Ability to operate in complex, often ambiguous circumstances, with a high capacity for
successful multi-tasking, and managing multiple priorities.
