Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop understanding of departmental policies and sales procedures/processes in order to assist representatives.
- Communicate with utility to collect necessary data for completion of sale.
- Submit pricing requests and relay information to proper member of sales team.
- Use in-house technology to submit electric usage requests and evaluate historical usage and intervals.
- Submit IT requests on behalf of the sales team and follow up to ensure completion.
- Act as the liaison between the sales team and billing and finance.
- Submit production support requests and perform status checks on those requests.
- Assist sales team with support requests, which include but are not limited to: emailing customer contracts, mailing marketing materials, researching current contract price, and electronically filing important customer documents and paperwork.
- Identify recommendations for process efficiency based on issues raised by sales team.
- Create and interpret Excel spreadsheets various in nature.
- C&I Only: Review new customer credit and asses next steps in credit extension process.Run reports or tools as assigned by the Sales Operations Supervisor including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, PowerApps, and Automate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 1 to 3 years applicable experience. Experience in and knowledge of energy industry is desirable.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in CRM. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to write formulas & create pivot tables.Ability to read and interpret general business and technical documents.Present information clearly and effectively, responding to questions from sales and billing.Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Embodies AEP Energy Values such as: Accountability, Passion, Integrity, Innovation, and Humility. Compensation Range:
$21.07-26.34 USD
