Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee residential solar installations. The ideal candidate will excel in planning, execution, and ensuring the success of projects while managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of residential solar projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly.

Team Coordination:

• Manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Coordinate with external partners, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.

Operational Excellence:

• Implement project management best practices and methodologies.
• Monitor and manage contractor and vendor performance, including contract negotiation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Experience in project management of residential solar installations.
• Proven project management experience in the renewable energy or solar industry (minimum 1 year; 3-5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of G-Suite and Slack.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Acute attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Proficiency in project management software, with the ability to quickly learn tools like Coperniq.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Spanish language skills.
