We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Specialist to join us. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and optimizing our global payroll processes, overseeing payroll activities across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering accurate and timely payroll services.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire payroll process for the Israeli entity (approx. 200 employees)
  • Supervise and review EMEA and APAC payroll processes prepared by local specialists (approx. 50 employees)
  • Implement and manage an in-house payroll platform for the Israeli entity
  • Manage the payroll-related aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Manage time reporting process in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the HR team on enhancing processes and reports
  • Manage the activity with the pension agents & operators
  • Manage the activity with Social Security, Tax Authorities, and other payroll-related institutions
  • Act as the focal point for employees' payroll inquiries
  • Ensure all requested employment forms are completed and managed in compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Manage accruals for vacation, Havra'a, and other payroll-based accruals
  • Manage the payroll journal entries
  • Stay informed of relevant local regulatory updates and changes, communicating and enhancing the processes accordingly

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a payroll accountant in global high-tech companies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
  • Deep understanding of personal income tax legislation, labor codes, and social benefits
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively to deliver timely and high-quality work
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel
  • Proficiency with payroll-related systems - implementation experience is an advantage
  • Experience in managing external payroll providers is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills, explaining complex issues at an understandable level
