When joining Tietoevry Banking as a Test Automation Engineer

  • As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be key in setting up the structure and framework around functional test scenarios for applications that need increased test coverage. This will be accomplished by using a BDD approach and established test processes. 

  • You will be working with Test Developers within the Scrum teams and ensure that we develop automated functional tests, improving the quality of our features, reduce the test cycles and secure repeated quality of features 

  • Be part of develop test plans, test cases and quality improvements with strong focus on utilizing code and script languages to solve technical challenges.

  • Contribute to building a robust, scalable, and high-quality test automated solution for functional regression- and performance testing. 

  • Take part in further development and maintenance of strategies and processes within technical test- and test automation.

We are looking for

We are expanding our Quality Assurance team in FCP. We are in constant change and this position requires you to be flexible, collaborative, and motivated by quality and good results.

We envision that you have the following background and competencies:

  • Relevant experience from higher education levels and typically BS/B Tech degree

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience within enterprise product development and Test with strong focus on test automation.

  • Design, develop and execute automated test scripts using automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress or similar.

  • Hands on ability in writing clean code in languages like Java, Python or C#

We also believe you have

  • You have a strong consciousness and drive towards quality, are thorough and motivated by a methodical approach to testing

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and testing best practices.

  • Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices using tool like Cucumber is a plus.

  • Fluent in English and good communication and presentation skills
