Job Description

40+ is the number of employees in the Process Analytics and Analytical Sciences department. Join us in co-creating a new unit for the development of biosimilars at Sandoz's global development center in Ljubljana.

We are a team of highly motivated and skilled professionals who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced expert to join our team and take responsibility for digitizing the department in the position of: Senior scientist AD Biosimilars (d/f/m).

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsibility for the digitalization of the department. Developing a digitalization strategy with focus on streamlining existing processes and improving efficiency by using digital tools and technologies.
  • Identifying digital solutions towards automatization.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional project teams.
  • Providing reliable user support and conducting training to promote digital literacy among users.
  • Assisting in solving challenges.
  • Participating in the selection of state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, health and safety standards, and other Sandoz standards.

What you will bring to the role:

  • MSc or PhD in life sciences or technical sciences with a strong knowledge in technology, biotechnology, analytics, or other related life sciences.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in digitalization.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and system management. 
  • Scientific, digital and operational excellence.
  • Experience in working in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including open, clear, decisive, organized, and succinct communication that allows for influence in professional meetings, and the ability to collaborate effectively as a standalone unit among teams in a global environment.
  • Active knowledge of English language required (oral & written).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge in the field of digital processes and technologies.
