About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and collaborative finance business partner to join the LNNA Decision Support Finance team in what is an exciting and transformational time.  Joining a business which is enjoying significant growth you will be responsible for working with various business partners across multiple products to ensure the continuation and acceleration of that trajectory as well as managing a team.  The products under this role are in different stages of their lifecycles as well as how they are supported commercially – either directly or through other teams making this a truly diverse role.

Responsibilities

  • Finance Business Partner to the LNNA Leadership team as responsible for Print, Intelligize, Lex Machina, Casemap, Idex and Practical Guidance
  • Partner with VP’s and Senior Management to deliver financial results and drive initiatives. You’re comfortable with both digging into details and thinking about the big picture and an agent of change willing to challenge the status Quo
  • Confident in using data in decision making while seamlessly using your finance background to link financials with commercial, operational and other data
  • Bridge between commercial and product ownership to ensure those business leaders who also are responsible for revenue targets yet do not have commercial teams are up to speed on results, providing advice through data and analytics to drive better results
  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecast processes for the products as mentioned
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for senior management
  • Deliver enhanced insight on cost drivers and develop financial metrics providing constructed recommendations for actions
  • Drive optimization, AI and cost reduction initiatives to ensure cost targets are achieved
  • Providing timely, sound and actionable financial recommendations from insights on scenarios of future performance
  • Following internal controls and procedures to comply data integrity and consistency to give insight for the annual audits
  • Developing excellent relations and maintain regular contact with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure LNNA Finance Team works as one
  • Manage and develop team who have various levels of experience ensuring their continued development

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years post qualification experience (CMA/CPA/ACA equivalent)
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, with a track record of delivering results and driving financial performance
  • In depth knowledge of finance, accounting principles, financial regulations, and risk management practices
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to effectively influence decision-making at the executive level
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience of achieving results in an international environment, with appreciation of differences in culture and legal frameworks
  • Ability to look beyond the financials, linking financials with metrics and other data to drive results
  • Proactive and curious mindset
