Job description

Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a Switched Bills Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for the efficient and effective online handling of U.S./Canada logistics and switched bills related services. This role involves direct communication with customers to resolve inquiries, provide information, and ensure smooth operations in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). The representative is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction while adhering to the company's service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to U.S. and Canada logistics and switched bills services via online platforms (e.g., chat, email, and/or phone).
  • Documentation & Records Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of switched bills, keeping detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • SOP Adherence: Strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and address billing discrepancies or logistics issues, escalating cases when necessary, while ensuring clear communication with customers.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (e.g., logistics, finance) to resolve complex issues and improve service quality.
  • Customer Education: Educate customers on the switched bills process, logistics timelines, and service procedures to ensure understanding and prevent future issues.
  • Reporting: Provide regular feedback on service quality, challenges, and suggestions for process improvements.
 

Requirements: 

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with no barriers to understanding or speaking with customers in the U.S./Canada.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or billing-related roles is preferred, but not required.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and processing customer service requests.
  • Responsibility: Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility and accountability in meeting service standards and deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and address customer issues effectively.
  • Team Player: Ability to work in a collaborative environment while maintaining individual productivity.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable adapting to changes in policies, technology, and customer service protocols.
