Job description

Join us as a Public Affairs Manager (m/f/d) in our Communications team on a shared journey that matters!

We are a small team which is responsible for PR, internal communications, social media and public affairs. We are currently looking for support in the area of public affairs. For us as a team, it is crucial that we work hand in hand and support each other where necessary.   

What you will do
  • Representation of MOIA-interests in committee work with local, national and international associations, supervisory authorities and political institutions 
  • Participation in the conceptual development and practical implementation of positions of MOIA on regulatory topics 
  • Supporting our political work in the field of autonomous mobility of the future  
  • Networking and initiation of networks with German and international associations and initiatives 
  • Handle requests from European cities and municipalities   
What will help you to fulfill your role 
  • Some years professional experience in politics, association work or in the mobility industry 
  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree, ideally in political science or law 
  • Excellent knowledge of the legislative processes in Germany, the EU and ideally other European countries
  • Prior knowledge in the area of new mobility with a focus on data, digital business models and Autonomous Driving is a plus 
  • Ideally existing political network on European level and/or German state and federal politics  
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in German & English
  • Hands on mentality, joy of networking and social media affinity 
  • Openness to travel and participate in evening events
