Job description

This is a remote role based anywhere within one of our European countries of operation. You must be a permanent resident of that country and have the right to work in that country.

The Department


Autovista Group’s Group Technology Team is responsible for delivering technology programmes, projects and business as usual support for both our internal applications and external customer products that Autovista provides to the automotive industry. Group Technology supports Autovista Groups products in the market, that includes automotive support functions such as identification and valuation processes for multiple sectors including, dealers, insurers, lease providers, fleet managers and original equipment manufacturers (eg car brands). Group Technology Testing Services delivers quality assurance activities across the technology delivery lifecycle and provides information that supports release decisions based on knowledge and risks, and is a key function of Group Technology. 



The Role


As an Group Technology Test Analyst you will be rresponsible for the design, creation, execution, defect reporting & resolution and measurement of testing using appropriate tools and techniques, complying with agreed standards, to ensure that new and amended software, together with any interfaces, perform as specified and intended.

Working with Programme & Project delivery teams, selected application & service suppliers, businesses, and operations teams our Test Analyst adhere to the standards and processes detailed  in our agreed Test Policy. 


The Candidate


You will have relevant test analyst experience, are able to demonstrate knowledge of formal testing methodologies and be foundation ISTQB qualified. Understanding of known testing and quality assurance processes is essential including creation of test assets and test execution. By ensuring testing best practice, processes, policies, and appropriate tool usage are applied to the delivery you will provide key information to delivery stakeholders to make informed release decisions. You will support defect management and resolution processes for agreed test phases and strive for the highest test quality by delivering tests assets that are relevant, test descriptions that are easily understood and testing pre-requisites that are well detailed. You will be a good communicator and enjoy building relationships and collaborating with teams across the whole delivery lifecycle.
