Cerner & Soarian Legacy Support Analysts

 

e4health’s client in is migrating to Epic in 2025 and we are searching for multiple Legacy Support Analysts to support their implementation. We're looking for Consultants with Cerner Millennium expertise in any of the core areas within Cerner and Revenue Cycle expertise within Soarian.

 

JOB SUMMARY/ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist team with testing script setup and execution, if needed, to test changes to application
  • Document issues and assist implementation team with troubleshooting and resolving issues identified
  • Consult with client to deliver client-specific venue configuration, testing and training, as needed
  • Consult with clients on current workflows and configuration, upgrade implications, system changes and enhancements and ongoing system maintenance
  • Complete client-specific design, configuration and troubleshooting within appropriate tools
  • Complete full solution build with accountability for build quality score and follow up actions
  • Develop and execute test plan and test script execution and note changes in end user functionality
  • Identify and escalate issues to solution and engagement leadership
  • Leverage internal and external resources to deliver problem identification and resolution
  • Drive the client through design of clinical and business process, solution and technology workflow, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value
  • Assist in change management, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide accountability for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.
  • Provide expert industry knowledge in complex client environments; contribute in a leadership capacity to advance the solution and its effectiveness; consult with clients and project teams to recognize and document benefits; provide gap analysis and process redesign recommendations, support client and project teams; develop associate domain expertise (clinical, revenue and operational) and consulting skills; consults with client to develop and apply appropriate policies and procedures
Client Required Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years Cerner Millennium and/or Soarian experience in any of the following areas:
    • Inpatient Nursing & Physician Documentation, CPOE Orders & PowerPlans, SurgiNet, PharmNet, FirstNet, RadNet, PathNet, Integration Architect, Charges Services & Patient Accounting, HIM, Quality & Case Management, CareAware, Soarian Registration & Scheduling, Soarian Patient Accounting, etc. 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Cerner Millennium and/or Soarian workflows and overall design, build, and maintenance in core area of expertise
  • Expertise working with a client team in assisting with troubleshooting complex issues, recommending solutions, and assisting client with executing resolution plans
  • Proven experience with Cerner Millennium and/or Soarian Legacy Support
  • Ability to work within client SLA’s for issue remediation
  • Managing defined timelines to meet project deadlines
  • Capable of working alone or within a defined team
  • Aptitude to deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all end users
  • Able to establish and meet delivery dates
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and issues adjusting priorities as needed
  • Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and applications quickly and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to assume on call responsibilities

401(k) ELIGIBILITY:

e4health offers a retirement benefits package including 401(k) with company match. 

  • Full-time employees will be eligible to contribute to a 401(k)-retirement account after successfully completing 90 days of employment. 

  • Part-time employees will be eligible to contribute to a 401(k)-retirement account after completing 250 hours of worktime.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90% of the time. Feeling is required over 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time.  The ability to travel to field sites may be required up to 15% of the time.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, with protection from weather conditions. Exposure to noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable is present in only unusual situations.
