Job description

What's the role?:

B.E./B.tech. in Computer Science or related field; MS in Computer Science is preferred

Strong programming skills in Java or JVM-based language, on a Unix/Linux platform

4+ years of relevant experience in building production-grade systems

Expertise in cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EC2, AWS EMR, Redis) and message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka)

Plus:

Experience with stream-based applications using Akka or Apache Flink

Experience with Apache Spark

Experience in building distributed systems - have built highly scalable, robust, distributed and fault-tolerant systems based on open-source technologies

Experience working with data science and Machine Learning teams to integrate these techniques into products is highly desirable

Experience using Google Protocol Buffers
