You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a truly state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more.
What you’ll do:
The Brand Activation Manager will assume a pivotal role in advancing business growth while bolstering brand health key performance indicators within Sports Direct. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, this position will develop, implement, and oversee account marketing strategies and activation plans to achieve significant outcomes in alignment with adidas' strategic directives. The role necessitates robust marketing acumen coupled with adept interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships across diverse stakeholder cohorts, including North, European, and Global teams, external agencies, Sports Marketing Talent, and Sports Direct.
As an integral component of the Sports Direct Elevation Strategy, the execution of adidas brand initiatives stands as a cornerstone, with this role serving as a linchpin in facilitating the rollout of adidas campaigns across all platforms, encompassing Retail, Digital, and Social Channels. Building upon the achievements of the previous fiscal year, in '24, our focus remains steadfast on securing the foremost share of voice and space, executing operations with utmost excellence. Given the increased engagement with Sports Direct, proficient analytical capabilities are imperative for gauging the efficacy of campaigns against predetermined objectives, to driv share growth and net sales increases.
Skills you’ll need:
- Previous experience in Account Marketing or Brand Marketing.
- Strong business acumen, ability to assume a broader perspective (cross-markets/ global)
- Highly collaborative with strong communication skills
- High influencing skills and ability to make fact-based decisions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure.
