Job description

This is a remote position.

Remote: Any US; preference for EST working hours

Lynx Technology Partners is seeking a Data Analyst who will be responsible for translating data into technical documentation. This role will be hands-on and will partner cross functionally as well as with analytics leadership. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with mining large data sets, working with data warehouses and open-sourced tools and journey analytics. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, develop sound methodologies and communicate effectively is critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Prepare MDD, and OM report for Credit in-scope models per enhanced documentation standards

10 interconnected models sample (by Mar’25) + ~30 in-scope models (by end of 2025)

Pull data and create various tables/analyses for each model, discussion with credit/fraud strategy teams (i.e. in case of issues, sampling, resolve findings etc.)

Technical documentation for each model: Describe interpretation of monitoring report results such as breaches/special instances etc.

Formatting of word documents, and excel based reports for each model to tie narrative together cohesively

Requirements

Qualifications:

o 3+ years of hands-on programming skills (Python, R, Hadoop, SAS, SQL etc.)

o 3+ years of technical writing with strong written and communication skills

o 2+ years of experience working in Banking or Financial Services

o Masters in a technical field such as Statistics

o Ability to interpret data

o Knowledge or exposure to Statistical / Machine Learning models

o Able to articulate complex analyses into narrative documentation

o Preferred - exposure to credit lending, fraud models

MUST HAVE: Writing and documentation skills. Ideal candidate will have come from a bank background. Otherwise, consulting firm that have worked directly with banks.
