Job description

HonorBuilt is an IT services company specializing in restaurants and other multi-location businesses. Services include technology rollouts, hot spare programs, on-demand site visits, a technology certified help desk, and corporate IT support. At HonorBuilt, you’ll work with people who are eager to learn and to mentor, to apply new methods to customers’ toughest challenges, and to achieve success for themselves by creating success for others.

This position is on our Project Management team. We are looking for an exceptionally well organized, administrative professional to manage and lead projects as directed and maintain frequent communication with our client base. As a project lead, you will guide and motivate the team throughout the entire project, tracking the progress of tasks, monitoring goals, and reviewing information for compliance.

Job Responsibilities & Overview:

  • Developing integrated project plans for small projects and assignments.
  • Managing project scope and requirement changes.
  • Effectively delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Communicating directly with clients to provide status updates.
  • Communicating with clients, and team members, to establish exact needs for relevant projects.
  • Utilizing various types of project management software.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues.
  • Plan and lead group meetings in person or virtually.
  • Develop processes, procedures, system/application utilization.
  • Create documentation in support of procedures.
  • Provide training and support to project coordinators.


Preferred Education & Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or similar combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a Project role; strong preference to individuals who have previously led small project groups
  • Must have a familiarity of project management concepts and techniques
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities; be able to identify and address any issues that arise during the project
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and departments
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with specialized Project Management Software
  • Experience working on projects with specific deadlines, project plans and budgets
  • Experience managing the full life cycle of a project from Planning to Closure
  • Experience working from an established home office (preferred)
