Job description

Pay Range: $85,361.00 - $113,995.00

Responsible for preparing compliance and government filings within company service standards, department procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.

Education and Experience:

Associates degree and two (2) years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. ASPPA or other industry designations (such as NIPA or CEBS) preferred

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to interpret documents such as retirement adoption agreements, program manuals, and government instructions and guidance.
Advanced math skills including the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios.
Demonstrated knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks.
Ability to develop application software skills provided by internal training.

Tasks Performed:

45% Prepare compliance tests and year end packages including: review of plan eligibility requirements and determination of eligible participants; review of plan allocation conditions and calculation of requested contributions and forfeiture allocations; ADP/ACP nondiscrimination, 415 annual additions, 416 Top Heavy, and 410(b) coverage tests.30%Daily report monitoring and management, document pertinent client communication and provide internal and external project management support.
30% Research and resolve testing issues and questions. Collaborate with other departments when needed to resolve issues.
10% Prepare balance forward participant valuations (monthly, quarterly, annually).
10% Assist other teams as needed.
5% Other duties as assigned.
